Fencing

Entire site is surrounded by an 8’ commercial grade chain link fence , complete with barbed wire.

Entry Gate

Private key code pads allow you to enter and exit during access hours.  It also allows us to monitor who is coming and who is going and at what time of day.  This will all be recorded by an onsite computer which then generates reports that are reviewed by our staff daily.

Video Cameras

Our site is monitored by 18 motion sensitive night vision cameras.  In the event of any on site disruptions the police and our site manager are immediately notified.  These cameras are monitoring and recording the entire site around the clock.

Individually Alarmed Units

This is another  great weapon against potential theft.  When a customer enters their PIN at the entrance key pad, it disables only the alarm to their own unit.  When leaving our site the customer then enters his PIN at the exit key pad which instantly re-arms his unit.  Any attempted tampering with any of the units while they are armed will result in the alarm being activated., and the police and our site manager being called.

Location

Not only is the location of a storage facility important for convenience, but also for security.  Bulldog Self Storage is conveniently and safely located on a very frequented roadway, where  there is constant activity around the clock.  This was one of many factors  that were taken into consideration,  in choosing a location which would best allow us to provide the highest level of security possible.

Lighting

This is definitely one of the easiest ways to deter theft and ensure personal safety.  We have exterior lighting on all of our buildings.  These together with our parking lot, and compound lighting ensures further peace of mind to our customers.
